At Denver ABA Therapy we strive to help every child reach new heights. Every child has unique strengths, and we’re here to uncover and bring them into the light.
ABA is recognized as the gold standard treatment for children with autism and other developmental disabilities. This evidence-based approach consistently demonstrates its effectiveness in improving quality of life in ways that matter most to families—whether by helping children make new friends, establishing communication methods to meet their needs, or finding replacement behaviors for concerning actions.
ABA therapy isn’t a one-size fits all approach. Your child’s clinician will have a host of different methods falling under the ABA umbrella that can be tailored to fit your child’s personality, preferences, and needs.
We believe the whole family should be engaged in your child’s journey. Since carrying interventions over into your home outside of therapy sessions is critical for your child’s success, we love to get families involved and actively participating.
One of the keys to any successful relationship is trust. That’s why we want to get to know you! Our goal is for you to feel comfortable with us and reassured that we’ve got your back. We’re here for your child, but we’re also here for you.
The therapeutic process is a two-way street, and no child can succeed without the most invaluable experts on the team – parents. You are your child’s expert, and we’ll bring the ABA expertise to build a dream team.
We want you to be as excited about ABA as we are! We love teaching – whether it’s teaching you or your child’s therapy team, we can’t wait to share our knowledge with you. We’re also here to learn from you and your child. Together the sky’s the limit.
Get the direct support you need right in the comfort of your home. By working with you and your child in your home environment, it increases the likelihood that progress can be carried over to your home even when your therapy team isn’t present – and that’s the whole goal.
School settings provide a wonderful opportunity to work on positive social skills and communication with peers during structured and unstructured periods. In addition, your team can directly address any behavioral concerns that pose a barrier to your child’s academic success.
Get the care you need, when and where you need it. You can meet with your clinician from the comfort of your own home, no matter where you’re located. Telehealth is a vital tool for breaking down barriers to accessing care, and we’re proud to offer it.
After you contact us, our team will reach out to complete an intake over the phone. This is a chance for us to get to know you and make sure we’re the right fit for your family’s needs. It’s also an opportunity for you to ask any questions about our services. During the intake we’ll also request your insurance information for verification. From there we’ll match you with a dedicated Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA).
After we obtain approval from your insurance company, one of our dedicated Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBA) will schedule an initial assessment. During this appointment the clinician will complete several validated assessment measures to establish your family’s goals and a baseline for care.
After completing the initial assessment, your dedicated Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) will submit another approval request to your insurance for the clinically recommended level of care. Generally the first approval period lasts 6 months for a specific number of hours per week, based on the assessment.
An essential part of care during the first 6 months is constant re-evaluation and collaboration to adjust your child’s goals based on data collection, parent report, and observation. Every 6 months your dedicated Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) will request reapproval from your insurance by demonstrating ongoing progress and continued need for services.
We work with children and adolescents ages 0-21 years diagnosed with autism spectrum disorder.
We’re proud to serve clients with Health First Colorado coverage. Please contact us to inquire about other insurance carriers we accept or alternative payment methods.
We currently serve Denver and the surrounding areas. Services are provided both in-person and via telehealth for your family’s convenience.
